TJ was absolutely amazing at our wedding! Our guests were dancing all night long! Not only did TJ bring great energy and play great music to keep us all on our feet, he was so organized, timely, and professional. We couldn't be happier with our decision to have TJ be the DJ for our wedding. He was so professional and took care of more than just the music. He kept the dance floor full the entire night and all of our guests were so impressed by how great of a job he did. I can't say enough great things about TJ. From the second he arrived on our wedding day he was nothing short of amazing. TJ is hands down the best DJ you could ask for! He kept everyone on the dance floor all night and made sure he played everything we wanted him to. I just wanted to drop a comment here and say Thank you TJ. For everyone else reading this, it is an unsolicited testimony. With all of the planning going on in our wedding we did not have time to send TJ our playlist or even the names of the bridal party for our introductions. When we arrived to our reception after the ceremony he was able to plan our intros including music and even announced everyone's name correctly on the fly. To those watching it looked like we had rehearsed it several times. The party to follow included requests from the crowd because TJ had every song available that people could request. TJ even energized the crowd (almost 300) and got everyone on the dance floor for a good time. We did the Wobble, line dancing, the bouquet toss, garter belt, and all of it. He was great to ensure that the reception, music, and everything was what we wanted. He even surprised us with a DVD of our reception and offered us a ride to our own after party! I would recommend TJ to anyone getting married as a great wedding DJ. Thanks again TJ, you were awesome!

TJ did such a great job DJing our reception. We are so happy we chose him. We got so many compliments! He's responds quickly and made us feel like we didn't have a thing to worry about when it came to the reception. And he was right! TJ does an amazing job. He provides sound and music for ceremony, has a great photo booth with props, and has the best music that will keep your dance floor going all night long. Not to mention he films everything and helps keep things on time and organized! He really goes above and beyond for the price, highly recommend!!!

There are so many wonderful things I could say about TJ that reflect into his business at Excel Entertainment, but in that case I would be typing an entire book. This past weekend was one of the best nights of my life thanks to TJ and his son Dakota! I have never been to a wedding we're almost every single guest was on the dance floor the entire night. And when I say this, I am not joking. I have never danced so much in my life! TJ did such an amazing job DJing that people from other wedding receptions were coming over to ours just to dance and have fun! His son Dakota ran the photobooth that kept everyone busy all night! The morning after my wedding random people from the hotel were asking who my DJ was and I was more than proud to say Excel Entertainment. TJ was the talk of the party and I will for sure being using his service again! Not only did we have an amazing night because of TJ but we also gained a life long friend, who is extremely caring and goes above and beyond to make your night memorable, special and most important FUN!

I am so glad I had TJ as the DJ for my wedding. He has the most welcoming personality and truly loves what he does. We met with TJ one month before the wedding and he went through everything with us and made sure we left with no questions at all. He helped suggest songs for us and also made sure to ask what not to play. I messaged TJ though Facebook all the time leading up to the wedding and he always responded right away. On the actual day of the wedding, he went above and beyond. He acted as a coordinator and helped my quests with any questions and always went up to the headtable to see if we needed anything at all. I trusted Him to play what he wanted during dinner time and he nailed it! We got so many compliments from our guests on TJ and his cheerful, fun attitude. TJ kept the party rocking all night - we actually decided to extend another hour because we had so many people still on the dance floor. In addition to his music, he also provided uplighting to us and tapped our mass and reception. TJ is really the best and I can't thank him enough!

TJ was an excellent DJ. I couldn't have asked for a more attentive DJ. He was all about us and what we wanted. He was aware of everything going on and was able to assess the dancefloor well. He did music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. It was great to have an all-in-one DJ that could work with us. We were able to chat with him on the phone and meet with him in person before hand. I would definitely recommend him.

My husband and I have absolutely nothing but pleasant things to say about our experience with TJ the DJ! He went above and beyond our expectations for a DJ and made sure everything ran smoothly. Our situation was a bit unique where my husband and I are attending doctoral school in Minnesota but got married in Iowa (which is home). This made in person meetings difficult but TJ did not turn us down for this. Instead, he took the time to get to know us over the phone and answered the 10023 questions we had prior to the wedding. Overall, I would without a doubt recommend TJ to anyone who is looking for a DJ that coordinates with other vendors as makes sure your night runs smoothly without the stress!

Tj was great! He played all the songs we wanted and even made us a video! He kept the dance floor full all night! TJ the DJ did an amazing job! He went out of his way to play music for our ceremony rehearsal (extra bonus!) The reception was amazing- he provided up lighting, props, took requests, but most of all - he had everyone out dancing on the floor! We received so many compliments on how fun our reception was and how the dance floor was packed! He also gave us a cd at the end of the night that captured the ceremony and the reception- nice little touch that we now have to remember our special day. I met TJ the DJ at a bridal show late 2018 which was 2 years before my actual wedding day on 10/10/2020. He presented the information about his business and I was instantly hooked on him! His personality is great and he sells that he is there for anything you need on your wedding day, which he absolutely was. Literally anything I needed; TJ was right there with it. TJ is an absolute awesome DJ. He was my first vendor booked and I would book him again for any of my events in a heartbeat. We did the DJ service as well as the photobooth that is run by his son. His son was very professional and willing to help out those that may not know how to run a photo booth - we had a lot of older guests. With the photobooth your guests get to keep a copy and a copy is placed into a book for you to get at the end of the night. TJ also gives you a DVD of footage from the night as well. The price is definitely good for the services that are provided. He knows how to get the party out onto the floor and keep it there. He will do whatever you ask, even if he doesn't fully agree with it (like play the dirty version of WAP song at 8pm with grandparents still there). LOL.
